About Us

Welcome to LA-OC Folklorico Cultural Arts! We're more than just a dance studio; we're a welcoming 501(c)(3) nonprofit where individuals of all ages and skill levels can celebrate culture, learn authentic Mexican dance, and explore various dance styles like salsa and jazz. Join our supportive community and discover the joy of dance.

Meet Rosemary Corona — Director and Founder of LA-OC Folklórico Cultural Arts and its performing group Así es mi Tierra. With a lifelong passion for Mexican culture and traditional dance, Rosemary established this organization to preserve, promote, and share the beauty of folklórico with the community. Her vision and dedication have created a welcoming space where dancers of all ages can learn, grow, and connect with their heritage through artistic expression, discipline, and cultural pride.

Our Story

LA-OC Folklorico Cultural Arts began with Rosemary Corona's passion to keep Mexican traditions alive. Founded in 2025 at Corona Dance Studio in La Habra, our nonprofit evolved from a small dance group into a vibrant cultural community. Every class and performance reflects our love for culture, our commitment to youth, and our belief that dance unites generations and backgrounds.

We bring people together by preserving Mexican traditions, providing youth with a safe and creative space, and sharing vibrant performances that inspire cultural pride. LA-OC Folklorico Cultural Arts makes a positive impact by uniting communities through culture and authentic folklórico art. Located in La Habra, CA, we are dedicated to empowering youth and keeping traditions alive.

Our Impact

"My daughter adores her friends and cherishes every moment she spends in the studio. She has a genuine love for Mexican folklórico, a tradition that inspires her and connects her with her cultural roots."
